It was after I returned home from taking the godson on his first visit to Paris in 2017, that he suggested to me that I should start a blog, writing about my love for France. I did just that, and enjoyed the experience, but after fifty two posts, for some reason or another, I just stopped!

A few weeks ago I made another trip to Paris, this time taking godson number two on his first visit to the French capital, to show him the delights of that city which I have known and loved for so many years. Just as godson number one encouraged me to start blogging in the first place, so godson number two has dropped hints  that I should pick up where I left off, and maybe even spread my wings and write about other things too.

So here I am again, after a gap of nearly seven years, RainbowMiscellany is blogging once again. I hope you’ll enjoy what I write, and (having been granted permission), I hope you’ll also enjoy some of godson number two’s photography which from time to time (as below) may illustrate my posts!
